Secrecy Throughput in Full-Duplex Multiuser MIMO Short-Packet Communications

In this letter, we consider the physical-layer security (PLS) in full-duplex (FD) multiuser multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) short-packet communications, where a base station (BS) transmits precoded signals for secure downlink multicast while receiving from uplink users. To quantify PLS performance worst-case scenario, possible maximum wiretapping capability of multi-antenna eavesdropper. Taking into account self-interference (SI) FD mode and co-channel interference (CCI) to downlink, analyst secrecy throughput finite blocklength regime obtain its analytic expression, which perfectly matches asymptotic simulation results various scenarios. Moreover, investigations on substantiate that MIMO systems outperform their half-duplex counterparts given SI being sufficiently suppressed CCI well managed.
